Ingredients: 1 Onion (not 2 as per picture), 2 Cloves Garlic, 1 Box
Mushrooms,
2 Small or 1 Large pot of Sour Cream, 2 cuts Good Beef,
Pillau Rice, Olive Oil |
 |
Get all
your ingredients together (as above) you can start making the rice
know, if you have a steamer it should take about 20 mins, I prefer
Pillau rice |
 |
Finely chop
the onions, garlic and mushrooms as per illustration |
 |
Sautee the
onions in small amount of olive oil, at same time add finely diced
garlic |
 |
While the
onions are Sautéing cut your beef into strips and tenderise them
with a barbaric looking hammer, if you haven't got one, just cut
smaller pieces (so it's nice and tender when cooked) |
 |
Once
tenderised cut into small pieces like this |
 |
Fry
separately to the onions |
 |
Once onions
are translucent and nice and soft add the mushrooms |
 |
Keep on
medium heat and stir regularly till the mushrooms are cooked and a
nice colour, once this is done you may need to drain off excess
water created by the mushrooms |
 |
By
know the steak should be will browned and cooked |
 |
You will
need the Sour Cream soon |
 |
Add the
beef to the Onions, Mushrooms and Garlic stir thoroughly |
 |
Add your
Sour Cream to this, and reduce the heat, you must not allow the Sour
Cream to boil as it will go clumpy, all you need to do is make sure
the sour cream is nice and warm |
 |
Once the
pan has reached a nice temperature it's time to put a bed of rice on
your plate then put a portion of Stroganoff on top |
 |
Should look
something like this. Serve as all my recipes with a huge glass of
red wine and enjoy |
