Recipes Chicken Liver with salad

Ingredients: Chicken Liver, 1x Onion, 1x Carrot, 4x Potatoes, 1x Cucumber,
1x Chive (personal choice) Greek Yoghurt, Pepper.
Peel Carrots
Peel Potatoes
 
 
Try not to cut your fingers off  
Prepare together with
Onion
 
Peel Onion into small
Pieces
 
Fry onion in saucepan
with a little oil or butter
until tender & transparent
 
Add Carrots and
continue to fry on low
heat
 
Add pepper and salt to
taste as required
 
Cut off fat from liver portions 
Add to frying pan 
Slowly cook all, until all
becomes tender
 
Once liver has browed
Keep on low heat
 
Start preparing side dish
of your choice, in this
recipe it will be with
cucumber and Greek
Yoghurt

Dice / Slice cucumber
Chives ready for salad
 
Flour will soon be needed to add to the Liver pan 
Add Yoghurt to Cucumber
stir together gently
 
Add 1 (one) generous
tablespoon of plain flour to
liver dish
 
Should look like this, then 
Slowly add 1/2 to 3/4 pint of
water to the pan,
the secret is to slowly stir
the water in, otherwise the
flower will clump toghether

 

Once done you will get a
nice gravy texture on the dish
Your Boiled Potatoes by this
time should be ready to mash

 

Finally stir together the Liver
dish and add tomato pure this is to get the nice colouring, not for flavour so don't over do

 

Should now be looking
something like this,
Finish mashing your potatoes
with butter and milk if you
want to add flavour and
creamy texture
Serve as follow, in this case
with Beetroot, however
I love the Salad dish with the Greek Yoghurt.
